Before you slather
What's the difference between a balm, butter, and schmear?
It's all texture. A schmear is a pump lotion (lightest), a butter is whipped light-to-medium, and a balm is whipped rich. Use the spectrum above to pick.
What does "emulsified" mean?
Water is whipped into the base so it spreads and absorbs like a conventional lotion instead of sitting like an oil. You'll see it on the Magnesium Emulsified Body Butter and the Wagyu Emulsified Tallow Balm.
Why magnesium?
The Magnesium Emulsified Body Butter uses a magnesium-rich water phase — a lot of people like it on legs and shoulders before bed. Same base, just a different emulsion.
